The Vision

**microBazaar** is an ambitious journey into building a scalable, resilient, and feature-rich e-commerce platform using a microservices architecture.

We're breaking down the traditional monolithic application into smaller, manageable, and independently deployable services.

The system is designed as a constellation of specialized services, communicating asynchronously via **RabbitMQ**:

- : Auth Service**: The gatekeeper managing secure registration, login, and JWT tokens.

- : Product Service**: Manages the catalog, inventory info, and image handling via ImageKit.

- : Cart Service**: Persistent shopping cart management with Redis for speed.

- : Order Service**: Orchestrates order creation and communicates with Inventory.

- : Payment Service**: Secure integration with Razorpay for transaction handling.

- : AI Buddy**: Socket.io-based shopping assistant using LangChain.

- : Notification Service**: Event-driven email/push notifications.

- : Runtime**: Node.js & Express

- : Communication**: RabbitMQ (AMQP) & Socket.io

- : Databases**: MongoDB (Per Service), Redis

- : Infrastructure**: Docker, AWS (ECS, ALB)

- : Scalability**: Independent scaling of hot services (e.g., Product vs Order).

- : Resilience**: Failure in one service (e.g., Recommendations) doesn't kill the checkout flow.

- : Event-Driven**: Asynchronous updates for notifications and dashboards.
